FREE School Breakfast and Lunch for 2024-25 school year

The Owen D. Young Central School District has again qualified for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). That means ALL students will receive FREE breakfast and lunch this school year. The district received this designation based on factors that revealed a need for financial assistance for district families.

The CEP provision does NOT cover the costs of additional a la carte items (milk, yogurt, ice cream, cookies, etc.) Students may purchase these items with cash, or through a digital EZSchoolPay account. Funds may be added to your child’s account by check (made out to OHM BOCES Food Service), made online https://www.ezschoolpay.com, or send cash in a labeled envelope to school with your student.

While not required, the district encourages families to fill out and submit a household income eligibility form each year to ensure that ODY school district receives the aid it relies on to operate and for students and families to receive other benefits they may be entitled to based on income thresholds.

For a quick and easy way to complete the household income eligibility form, go online to https://ezmealapp.com/ select the Owen D. Young Central School District and follow the prompts. Or you can complete a hard copy of the household income eligibility form and return to your school building office.
