Congratulations to ODY student-artist Mackenzie Lawrence for winning FIRST PLACE for her sculpture artwork, which is currently on display at the “Young at Art! Imaginations at Play” exhibition at the Fenimore Art Museum! Her artwork was selected from over 385 submissions to be one of 40 pieces on display in the show - and out of those 40 submissions, Mackenzie won first place! Her creation is called “Sugarpie” and is a robot dog from the Icelandic show “Lazytown.” She used an array of cardboard, paint, wire, tape, hot glue, and other miscellaneous items to complete the project.
Way to go, Mackenzie ..... we are all so proud of you!
